"Saint Valentine" - five songs from first Nashville winter

After living in both New York City and his native South Carolina, Aaron Berg relocated to Nashville, Tennessee.  "Saint Valentine" is the first set of new material since his migration.  Written and recorded at his apartment on Summit Avenue just a few blocks from Music City's legendary Music Row the tracks are entirely a solo effort featuring a range of layered performances.  The five songs outline a wintery landscape colored by reverbant voices and shimmering ambient overtones.  The mood as one poet friend desecribed is: "Divine...melancholy but divine."  Berg wrote the songs, performed, and recorded the entire project in eight weeks in total isolation in literally every room of the apartment where he lived lending a distinctively intimate edge to a lyricism which is both resilient as well as nostalgic.  "Saint Valentine" is currently available only digitally but plans are in the works for a 10" vinyl pressings next year!

"Saint Valentine" was written, recorded, and performed by Aaron Berg using 1999 Martin HD-28, Silvertone Nylon String F-63-FK, Fender Telecaster ('52 Reissue), Casio CDP-100 (w. AIR Filters), 1983 Fender Squier Precision Bass (Japan), 1998 Romano Solano Contrabass Violin, Fender Deville Twin, Acoustic B600 (w. 4x10), Rode NT1-A, SM57 Beta, M-Box, Protools LE, Macbook Pro.
